Be the first line of contact for the group/attendee panelists and the convention. Make sure the panelist(s) have everything that they need. Coordinate A/V issues with the appropriate department. Perform a head count of people attending the panel. For panels during the 18+ blocks Line/Access and Badge Checking may be required depending on needs. Liaisons will also rotate staffing at the panelist check-in desk. Liaisons will check in panelists and coordinate with the Programming Director as needed.
This is a barter position, which means you will be bartering your time with this company in return for items of equal value. This can include badge(s), vouchers for merchandise, and vouchers for meals. The amount you receive as barter will depend on the hours that you work during the event. The barter system is a legal payment process documented by the IRS.
