The Programming Operations Department is looking for Event Support who are interested in assisting the Panel Management Team. This position will require heavy lifting, constant walking, or standing during the event. Shifts will be 4 hours minimum, including morning, midday, afternoon, and closing. Duties will include helping our Guests, and Panelists to their panel rooms, audio, and visual support, etc. This department collaborates with Panel Check-in Desk, Security, Guest Relations, and more. The Panel Management Team is a fast-paced environment, that is responsible for making sure our Guests, Panelists, and Attendees have a great experience during the event. The Game Checkout area is one of the first areas people see when they enter the Main Gaming Hall. Part information desk, part inventory tracking, this entry level position requires no prior gaming knowledge or experience (though a knowledge of tabletop and/or video gaming certainly helps)! Use provided tools to answer questions, assist customers in making a game selection, check games/equipment out to them, and ensure that everything's collected when they're done enjoying their games. A positive attitude and a smiling demeanor ensures success in this position!

The Programming Operations Department is looking for Event Support who are interested in helping with the Panelist Check-in Desk. The position requires no heavy lifting. Shifts will be 5 hours minimum. Duties will include checking in panelists prior to their panels, upgrading from day passes to full event passes as needed, as well as other duties as assigned. This department works closely with the Programming Department and the Panel Management Team. If you are someone who enjoys talking to and working with people, this is the position for you!

In this position, the Event Support member will be responsible for assisting with the Staff Room where food and beverages will be provided and served to all levels of convention staff. There will also be responsibility to assist with the cleanliness of the room and all items within. Shift lengths are a 4-hour minimum.

Come help out at the all-knowing Information Desk! You’ll get the opportunity to learn all about the event and be the first-line to assist attendees with all kinds of questions and intrigue. As Event Support, shifts are a minimum of 4 hours. You’ll also be provided with plenty of reference materials to help with answering any questions that come your way.

This is a barter position for the Activity’s Lounge/Parent Lounge at Saboten-Con. The Activity’s Lounge and Parents Lounge are places where people can relax, do crafts, and play games. The Activitys’ Lounge has crafts, manga, programming, board games, and large game sets. The Parents Lounge is more of a place for parent’s to go when their child is attending a panel. It has coffee and tea, magazines, and board games. This room will also have programming for older attendees. Both Lounges will have activities planned for each day and some that are every few hours.
